There are no accounts with us, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we run no servers that receive your data. Your favorites, history and settings stay on your device. This policy is from D4vil ("we") and explains the few things the app does send over the internet to work. The app keeps the following on your iPhone only. It is never sent to us. - Your favorite stations (free: up to 5; M4X: unlimited). - Your listening history: the last 100 stations you played. - Your settings: language, colorway, toggles such as Audio reactive and Mini player, and your chosen app icon. - A saved copy of the station list, refreshed about once a day, so the app opens quickly. - A list of stations that failed to play, so they are hidden next time. - Whether you own M4X. To play radio, the app connects to other services. Like any website or app, they can see your IP address and basic request details such as your device type. We do not receive any of this. - Station directory. The app asks the community-run Radio Browser service (api.radio-browser.info and its mirror servers) for the list of stations and their details. - Radio streams. When you play a station, the app connects straight to that station's own server. The station's operator can see your IP address, as with any listener. The app also reads the current song title from the stream when the station provides one. - Code libraries and map data. The app loads open-source libraries (d3, hls.js, topojson) and the world map outline from the jsDelivr content delivery network. - Music links. If you tap a link to find the current song on Spotify, YouTube or Apple Music, that service opens with a search for the song or station name. Nothing is sent unless you tap. - Sharing. When you share a station, the link contains the station's public ID. iOS handles the sharing; we do not see who you share with. These services have their own privacy policies, and we do not control them. Signing in is optional. If you choose it, the app stores your Apple user identifier and the first name you agree to share, on your device. We do not ask for your email address. When you are signed in, your favorites and history are saved to your Apple iCloud account so they follow you between your devices. That data is held by Apple under your iCloud settings and Apple's privacy policy. It is not sent to us. M4X is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. Apple processes the payment, and we never see your name, card or billing details. The app asks the App Store whether you own M4X, and keeps a yes or no on your device so features unlock even when you are offline. "Restore purchase" asks the App Store again. - We show no ads and use no advertising identifier. - We use no analytics, crash-reporting or tracking tools. - We do not sell, rent or share your data, because we do not have it. - We do not ask for permission to use your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. The audio-reactive visuals work from the radio audio the app is playing, not from your microphone. The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Stations are broadcasts run by third parties around the world, and some may carry content meant for adults. We do not control what they play. - Remove a favorite by tapping its heart again, or clear your listening history from the history list in the app. - Sign out of Sign in with Apple in the app's menu. - Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device. - Data saved to iCloud is managed in your iPhone's iCloud settings.
